About

Born in a now defunct East LA hospital I grew up in Hollywood amidst many film and TV studios. I’ve known since childhood that I wanted to be an artist of some fashion and with no real goal in mind spent most of my free time doodling on any paper I could find.

After High School I spent a couple of fruitless years pursuing a career in comics. A friend who abandoned that very dream for a career in animation convinced me to do the same. After finding some early successes with stints at Sony and HBO, I floundered for the better part of a decade bouncing between low paying jobs and middling VFX/Motion Graphic work. Sometime in 2010 I grew tired of punching a clock, tapping keys, and clicking mice so I re-committed myself to art. I’ve been working as a designer in the TV animation industry ever since.

When I’m not drawing for work or myself, I’m out endangering my very career and body thrashing about SoCal race tracks on a myriad of motorcycles types from Superbike, to Supermoto, to Motocross. Being that I’ve now become identified as primarily a car guy, having drawn so few bikes these days, and that I genuinely love cars, I’ve steered myself into the world of four-wheeled cages and the mastery of three pedals. Considering the time spent in surgery, casts, and wheelchairs, that’s probably a good idea.
